26 km from Cavaillon and 16 km from Pertuis,  Lauris is a small village in the southern Luberon. Lauris lies at the base of the range, in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, at 200 meters altitude. See the magnificent garden which has special collections of dye-plants, planted on the château terraces. See the old village, with its homes, oratories, fountains and other architectural details from the 17th and 18th centuries. Follow the 3-garden path, and see the magnificent wrought iron campanile.

Lauris has Provencal markets, craft markets, flower markets, and a Christmas market with santons… Check for dates.

And – from April to December, on Saturday afternoons, there is the farmers’ market by the train station.
