The Carpentras market has been ranked as an “Exceptional market” due to the quality of the products on display and the lively atmosphere. There are over 350 stalls every Friday morning. The colourful displays and the varied goods draw shoppers from far and wide, giving the market its usual role as an important meeting place. Colours, scents, textures – depending on the season, Carpentras is full of strawberries, cherries, basil, grapes, truffles, olives … each season is deservedly famous !!
