Here you are in lavender country, the land of blue, in the heart of the biggest growing area for true lavender (lavandula angustifolia) in Europe.

From the town of Sault, the capital of lavender, this trail takes you through lavender fields, where you can discover every facet of this emblematic Provencal plant, in every season. Take advantage of the informative signs along the way, which describe the botanics, growing, harvesting and distillation of lavender.
