  • Level : easy to average for the sporty option
Follow the marked circuit, circuit N°7 (or N°1 and N°2 of the “Cycloguide VTT du Mont Ventoux”). As you leave the reception Chalet, observe the grassy turf which is home to protected species. In the last century, Mont Serein was a strategic site during the afforestation on Mont Ventoux. Take some time as you cross through the ancient “Contrat” forest. This pine and beech forest is many centuries old, and contains some rare descendants from the Mont Ventoux forest, such as candelabra pine. This is a rolling circuit which takes you on roads and trails in the woods around the Mont Serein resort. The option is a bit more technical but is accessible to all. A short climb in the woods then downhill on grassy trails.
